Restorative Procedures

Bridges

A bridge replaces missing teeth, maintains facial shape, and relieves bite stress. It looks great and “bridges” gaps between teeth, hence the name! Its success depends on the foundation of surrounding teeth, gums, and bone, so maintaining oral health is crucial. Bridges are often an alternative to single tooth implants, and can be a part of your discussion with Dr. Scott when replacing a missing tooth.

Crowns

Crowns fix extensively broken, worn, or decayed teeth by capping the tooth above the gum line. They can be made of porcelain or metal, but porcelain is preferred for its natural look and durability. When a filling isn't possible, Dr. Scott may recommend a crown. Using state of the art digital technology, we will scan your mouth to obtain an accurate model that the dental lab can use to make your crown!

Partial Dentures

Some teeth? Still no problem! In some cases you can utilize your remaining teeth and wear an appliance that will replace any missing spaces. It is very important that your remaining teeth are healthy, so Dr. Scott will evaluate your situation carefully before recommending a partial denture. For many, partial dentures can be a great option that replaces many missing teeth at fraction of the cost of implants and fixed bridges.

Complete Dentures

No teeth? No problem! Time tested techniques allow us to fit you for a set of dentures that will restore your smile and allow you to eat many of your favorite foods again! In certain cases, we may recommend adding implants to help hold your dentures in place if denture paste is not sufficient.

Fillings

Traditional dental fillings are a great way to rid yourself of tooth decay! Modern developments in material sciences mean that white fillings can be placed anywhere in your mouth. For front teeth especially, Dr. Scott carefully considers the shade to best match your natural teeth. Additionally, Dr. Scott can replace old silver fillings with white ones upon request.

Implant Restoration

Missing one or more teeth but don’t want a removable appliance? Consider replacing them with implants! Implants are durable, metal and porcelain teeth that look just like real ones. They restore stability to your bite and prevent your face from aging. Plus, implants can help support dentures and give you a natural smile. Take care of them, and they'll last a lifetime!
